TORONTO, KS — In accordance with 39 C.F.R. § 241.4, this is the United States Postal Service’s final decision with respect to the Postal Service’s proposal to relocate retail services from the above-referenced Post Office to a new location within city limits of Toronto. The Postal Service has initially identified the northeast corner of Stockton St.  and W. Main St. next to the Toronto Public Library having the address of 215 W. Main St. If this location is not adequate or an agreement cannot be reached with its owner, the Postal Service will consider other sites.

Due to structural and safety concerns, the Postal Service determined it was necessary to find a new location within the community to provide Postal Service. The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were previously provided to our customers at the previous location. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to continue services at the Yates Center Main Post Office until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.
