Final Decision Regarding Vassar Post Office Location Located At 130 Topeka St. 66543

VASSAR, KS - In accordance with 39 C.F.R . § 241.4, this is the United States Postal Service’s final decision with respect to the Postal Service’s proposal to relocate retail services from the above-referenced Vassar Post Office to 4176 E Hwy 268, Vassar, KS 66543 (the “Replacement Post Office”). If this location is not adequate or an agreement cannot be reached with its owner, the Postal Service will consider other sites.

We are working to remain close to the Vassar community location. Additionally, in September of 2022, the postal operations of the Vassar Post Office were temporarily relocated to the Lyndon Post Office located at 712 US-75, Lyndon, KS 66451. The Lyndon Post Office will continue to serve in this capacity until the Replacement Post Office is fully operational.
