Final Decision Regarding Berryton Post Office Located At 749 SE Berryton Rd. Berryton, KS 66409-9998

Berryton, KS – In accordance with 39 C.F.R. 241.4, this is the United States Postal Service’s final decision with respect to the Postal Services proposal to relocate retail services from the above-referenced Post Office to a site within a three-mile radius of above location. The Postal Service has initially identified Lot 7 at 2500 SE 77th St. Berryton, KS. as the new potential location. If this location is not adequate or an agreement cannot be reached with its owner, the Postal Service will consider other sites.

The Postal Service is considering relocation because of space deficiency at the current Post Office. The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were previously provided to our customers at the previous location. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to continue services at the current Tecumseh, KS. Post Office until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.
