ASHLAND, KY – Out of an abundance of caution during the current COVID-19 outbreak, the Installation Ceremony for Ashland Postmaster Angela Layne has been postponed indefinitely. The event was scheduled to take place on Friday, Mar. 13, 2020 at the Ashland Post Office.

“I appreciate the kind words and encouragement I have received from the Ashland community since being named Postmaster. I regret having to cancel the ceremony, but the health and well-being of our customers and employees is our primary concern at this time,” said Layne.

The Kentuckiana District serves ZIP Codes 400-409, 411-427 in Kentucky and 471, 476-477 in southern Indiana.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
