GREENUP, KY —The Wurtland Contract Postal Unit (CPU) will temporarily close, beginning today, Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2020, until further notice. The Postal Service was informed that city officials have closed the courthouse as a precaution during the Coronavirus outbreak. The CPU is housed in the Wurtland Courthouse, located at 500 Wurtland Ave, Greenup, KY 41144.

Customers may access full retail services at the Greenup Post Office, 1312 Ashland Rd. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
