The Mayfield Post Office will resume full operations in a new temporary location on Monday, April 11, 2022. Mayor Kathy Stewart O'Nan will join postal officials to welcome employees on their first day at the new location for a celebratory breakfast.

Mayfield customers no longer need to access retail services, PO Box mail, or pick up hold mail at the Hickory Post Office. Employees will no longer report to work at the Paducah Processing and Distribution Facility.

The West Broadway Post Office location was severely damaged by the December 10, 2021, tornado. Currently, there is no information on when repairs to this location will be complete.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its.
