London, KY Post Office To Host Passport Fair

Event scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 23

LONDON, KY — The London Post Office, located at 1760 Highway 192 W – 40741, will host a passport fair on Saturday, Mar. 23, 2024. Passport Fair hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

“International travelers should plan early as we approach the tradition travel season,” said London Postmaster Greg Smith. “We’re here to help our customers as they prepare to travel the world.”

To apply for a passport, first-time applicants need proof of U.S. citizenship in the form of a certified copy of their birth certificate issued by the city, county or state, a certificate of citizenship or a naturalization certificate, or a previously issued full-validity passport book or card (can be expired). Applicants also need a valid form of photo identification, and must submit a photocopy of identification, such as a current valid driver’s license, government ID or military photo ID.

For adults, the fee for a passport book is $130.00 to the Department of State with an acceptance fee of $35 to the Postal Service. An expedited process is also available. Passport applications require a 2 x 2 photograph in color, which can be taken at the Passport Fair for a $15.00 fee.
