Ft. Knox Postmaster to Take Oath of Office

Community invited to June 28 event

FT KNOX, KY — Mary Cardoza-Lane to be officially sworn-in as Ft. Knox Postmaster.

Cardoza-Lane began her postal career in 2005 as a letter carrier in Louisville, KY. She has held numerous managerial positions since then, most recently as Postmaster in Vine Grove, KY.

“I have seen firsthand the role the Postal Service plays connecting neighbors and our community to the nation,” said Cardoza-Lane. “I am committed to providing reliable customer service and mail delivery to our customers, while strengthening the future of this treasured institution.”

US Army Captain Jeremy W. Jones, Cardoza-Lane’s son, will attend the installation and hold the Bible as she takes the oath of office. Jones is currently instructing at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. 

The public is invited to attend the event and stay for refreshments and conversation immediately following the ceremony.
