BOWLING GREEN, KY— The U.S. Postal Service recently welcomed employees to an event celebrating the opening of the Bowling Green Sorting & Delivery Center (SDC). The special event offered employees a first look at the Postal Service’s latest investments to improve the employee experience and provide the community and surrounding regions with faster, more reliable service under its transformation and modernization strategies.

The modernized Bowling Green SDC is a culmination of the cultural change throughout the Postal Service, focused on innovation, collaboration, problem-solving and competition. USPS facility investments across the state continue to make workplaces safer and more engaging.

Investments to transform and modernize local facilities like the Bowling Green SDC are a core tenet of its 10-year strategic plan. As the Postal Service continues its path toward financial sustainability and high operating performance, these investments not only enhance operational precision and delivery efficiency but also prioritize a better working environment for its employees, ensuring a safer and healthier workplace.
