NEW ORLEANS, LA — The U.S. Postal Service wants the season to be merry and bright for our customers this year. To help with the hustle of the holidays, the Carrollton Station will be open the next three Sundays, beginning Dec. 8. Postal customers will appreciate the convenience of shipping their holiday gifts between the hours mentioned below.

Monday – Friday retail hours from: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Saturday retail hours from: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday retail hours from: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Sunday Passport hours from:  10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

2019 Holiday Shipping Deadlines
The Postal Service recommends the following mailing and shipping deadlines for expected delivery by Dec. 25 to Air/Army Post Office/Fleet Post Office/Diplomatic Post Office and domestic addresses*:

• Dec. 9   — APO/FPO/DPO (ZIP Code™ 093 only) Priority Mail® and First-Class Mail®
• Dec. 11 — APO/FPO/DPO (all other ZIP Codes) Priority Mail and First-Class Mail services
• Dec. 14 — USPS Retail Ground service
• Dec. 18 — APO/FPO/DPO (except ZIP Code 093) USPS Priority Mail Express® service
• Dec. 20 — First-Class Mail service (including greeting cards)
• Dec. 20 — First-class packages (up to 15.99 ounces)
• Dec. 21 — Priority Mail service
• Dec. 23 — Priority Mail Express* service
