HAMMOND, LA - The United States Postal Service is holding a job fair at the Tangipahoa Parish Library in Amite, LA on Wednesday August 21, 2024. This event will help fill many positions within the Postal Service not only in Hammond, but also in the surrounding communities of Amite and Tangipahoa Parish.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Although in some instances, interested candidates can also be 16 with a high school diploma. Applicants must also be available to work weekends and holidays.
