USPS Announces Final Decision to Relocate Reeves, LA Post Office Retail Services

REEVES, LA — Following a 30-day period inviting community feedback and U.S. Postal Service review of all public feedback, the Postal Service has made a final decision to relocate retail services from 18320 Highway 190, Reeves, LA 70658 to a new location at 18196 US Highway 190, Reeves, LA 70658.

The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were provided to our customers at the Reeves Main Post Office. The Postal Service plans to continue to offer services at the Kinder, LA location until the new facility is open and operating as a Post Office.

While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the Reeves, LA community, the USPS properly considered community input and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives.
