U.S. Postal Service Announces Temporary Suspension for Spearsville Post Office

SPEARSVILLE, LA — The Louisiana District of the U.S. Postal Service is announcing a temporary suspension of operations at the Spearsville Post Office, located at 1360 Highway 15, Spearsville, LA 71277, due to facility damage.

Effective Monday, March 31, the alternate location for retail service is:

Lillie Post Office
113 Highway 15
Lillie, LA 71256

Retail Hours of Operation:
Mon-Fri            8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Sat                   Closed
Sun                  Closed

P.O. Box customers of the Spearsville Post Office may pick up their P.O. Box mail after 10:00 am Monday through Friday at the Lillie Post Office. P.O. Box customers are reminded to bring proper photo identification for mail and package pickups.

Delivery service is not affected and will continue uninterrupted. Customers with regular street delivery will pick up packages or other accountable items at the Lillie Post Office.

Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS or go to the Postal Service’s website, www.usps.com, to get the location of other nearby Post Offices and approved postal retail service providers.
