Massachusetts – Post Offices across the commonwealth will be open for business on Monday, December 31, however some may have earlier closings or schedules for collection of blue boxes on the street. Check with your local office for details. Post Offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 1, as our employees ring in the New Year.

While only Priority Express and other overnight committed packages will be delivered on Tuesday, full retail and delivery operations will resume on Wednesday, January 2.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
