Ashland — Effective Thursday, November 21, 2019, retail and Post Office Box service at the Ashland Post office at 205 Main St. in Ashland will be suspended pending some needed repairs to the facility.
Ashland Post Office customers will be able to receive full retail services and retrieve their Post Office Box mail at the Hopkinton Post office at 5 Cedar St. in Hopkinton. The retail hours in Hopkinton are M-F from 8:30 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 2 pm.
Post Office Box access is available beginning Friday, November 22, in the lobby from 6 am to 5:30 pm M-F and 6 am to 3 pm on Saturdays
Street delivered notices left for oversized or signature required mail should be brought to the Hopkinton Post Office for retrieval. There will be no other change to normal street delivery.
There is currently no set timeline for when the Ashland office will reopen.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
