Plympton, MA — Plympton Postmaster, Michael Light was among nineteen area Postmasters recently sworn into office by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy in a ceremony held in Boston. The title of Postmaster, at one time a politically appointed position, is only granted to those employees who demonstrate the highest level of commitment to the Postal Service and to the millions of customers we serve nationwide. They oversee all aspects of local retail and delivery operations for the Postal Service in your community. Postmaster Light stated, “I am excited to be a part of the Plympton community”.

Under the Postmaster General’s Delivering for America Plan, Postmaster Light will help to usher the Postal Service into a new era focused on reliability, consistency, affordability, dependability and sound financial management.
