Woods Hole, MA — The Postal Service will be honoring the Woods Hole Marine Community with a special dedication of these two stamps and presentation of framed stamp artwork to participating agencies.

The event will take place Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.

Special Dedications of the Eugenie Clark Forever Stamp and the National Marine Sanctuaries Stamps will take place at the event.

It will be held at the MBL Waterfront Park in Woods Hole.

Participants will include West Falmouth Postmaster Theresa Gardner, Stellwagon Bank National Marine Sanctuaries Superintendent Pete DeCola, NOAA Center Director John Hare, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Associate Director for Research Strategies Carol-Anne Clayson and a representative from the Marine Biological Laboratory.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations
