PCC Members Get the Inside Track on Mailing Technologies

BALTIMORE — The history of the Postal Service’s Postal Consumer Councils (PCCs) dates back over six decades. In 1961, the Boston Globe newspaper printed a story entitled, “High Postal Man Will Address Local Mail Users Council.” Over the decades the bond between business customers and the Postal Service continued to evolve throughout the country, and today, these councils now known as Postal Customer Councils, provide a unique opportunity for any business to meet with top level managers of the Postal Service to obtain information, share ideas, address issues, grow their business and network with other business colleagues. “The Postal Customer Council history has a proven track record of success and has sustained its reputation throughout the decades,” said PCC Administrator George Kippenhan.

The Greater Baltimore Postal Customer Council (GBPCC) has a history of success and has sustained it reputation throughout the country as a top PCC,” said Le Gretta Goodwin, Postmaster of Baltimore. “And just as the Postal Service continues to provide vital service for our nation through the execution of the Postmaster General’s 10-year strategic plan, Delivering For America, our PCC partners here in the Greater Baltimore area will proudly continue to serve this community through the power of the mail.”

We look forward to growing our membership. We encourage any local business to join us. Visit our website at greaterbaltimorepcc.org for more information.
