U.S. Postal Service Opens New Contract Postal Unit in Frederick

Full Line of Postal Services Available at the A1 Mart

FREDERICK, MD — To increase convenience and access to postal services, a new Contract Postal Unit (CPU) will open at the A1 Mart, 649 Himes Ave, Frederick, MD 21703.

The new CPU will celebrate its grand opening on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. and the public is welcomed to attend.

Frederick Mayor Michael O’Connor will be present to officiate the ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with Frederick Postmaster Joni Miner.

A full line of postal products and services are available at the new CPU, including postage stamps, packaging products, and much more.  The hours of operation provide convenient access Mon. – Fri. from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sat. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“The contract postal unit also has a nice, new look.” says Frederick Postmaster Joni Miner. “The Postal Service has utilized Contract Postal Units to better answer the needs of postal customers nationwide.”
