Woodstock Retail Associate Creates Family Atmosphere

WOODSTOCK, MD — The United States Postal Service is thrilled to celebrate Christine Aaron, a dedicated retail associate who has faithfully served the Woodstock community for over 26 years. Christine’s commitment and exceptional service have made her a beloved figure in the community.

“Everyone who comes through our door deserves the Golden Rule” Aaron said. “Some people may not be having a good day. I take it personally to make it better.”

Over the years, Christine has become a familiar face to countless customers, known for her warm smile, helpful attitude, and outstanding service. Her deep knowledge of postal operations and genuine care for the community have made her an indispensable part of the Woodstock Post Office.

“Christine is the backbone. The office and team can depend on Christine at any given moment to run the office in my absence” said Postmaster Joseph Goss, Jr. “When Christine decides to retire, she will be sorely missed by our team and the community. I personally hope that day never comes, she really has become my family”.

Since 1998 customers from all ages and walks of life have recognized her in many ways. Some have invited her to family functions, graduations and like any family, there are difficult times like when was asked to attend a memorial service for a customer who was a wife and mother of four whom she befriended.

One customer sent a personal note saying, “You have a unique quality that connects with your customers and have taken the time to know details about people’s lives. This is rare and is what makes you so special”.

The United States Postal Service has been an essential part of American life since its inception. Committed to providing reliable, affordable mail service to every address in the country, USPS plays a crucial role in maintaining communication and commerce across the nation.
