Postal Service Final Decision for the Relocation of the Ocean City Finance Station

OCEAN CITY, MD – The Postal Service has identified a location at 102 Worcester St., Ocean City, MD, 21842. If this location is not adequate or an agreement cannot be reached with its owner, the Postal Service will consider other sites.

This project will allow the Postal Service to maintain retail operations for our customers in the vicinity for the long term. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to provide services at the Reeves Station facility located at 408 Philadelphia Ave, Ocean City, MD 21842, until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.

While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the community, the Postal Service will be soliciting and considering input from the community and local officials.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
