BALTIMORE, MD – Not all work at the Postal Service is processing, transporting or delivering mail. With over 240,000 postal vehicles on the road, qualified automotive technicians are needed to maintain the postal fleet.

Currently the Postal Service is looking to hire multiple automotive technicians within the Baltimore metropolitan area.

Scheduled workdays are Monday through Friday, with a starting annual salary of $63,658 paid bi-weekly.

To assist filling these positions the Postal Service will be hosting the following job fair:

July 17 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Applicants must be 18 years of age, be able to pass a drug screening and a background investigation, possess a valid driver’s license, and have two years of driving experience with a good record. In addition, Postal Service Test 943 and Test 944 must be successfully passed to demonstrate knowledge and ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and make repairs to automotive systems.
