DETROIT, MI — The U.S. Postal Service reopened the Dundee Post Office at 319 Monroe St., today, January 16, and is providing full retail and P.O. Box service.

On January 11, the Dundee Post Office was closed due to safety concerns of flooding.

“The Postal Service is pleased to reopen the Dundee Post Office and once again deliver excellent customer service to our community,” said Dundee Postmaster Tim Moore. “We appreciate our customers’ patience.”

Retail hours at the Dundee Post Office are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. For more information, customers may contact the Dundee Post Office at 734-529-2757.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
