Traverse City, MI — Are you interested in employment with the U.S. Postal Service? USPS is hosting a Job Fair in Traverse City on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Job Fair will be a combination of drive-thru and walk in. Social distancing will be enforced and masks will be required.

We are hoping to recruit for all positions including city carrier assistant (CCA), rural carrier associate (RCA), mail handler assistant (MHA), and Postal support employee mail processing clerk (PSE).

CCA positions start at $18.01 per hour, RCAs - $19.06 per hour, MHAs - $16.87 per hour and PSE mail processing clerks start at $18.49 an hour. The employee will be required to work Saturdays and weekdays as needed. May include Sundays and holidays.

If driving is part of the job, applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of documented driving experience.

To be considered for the positions, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or High School graduate.
• Must be US Citizen or have permanent resident alien status.
• Must pass a background check, drug test and pre-employment medical assessment.
