USPS employees will be sharing information and answering questions about how to apply for a job with USPS.

The event is free and open to the public.

The Postal Service has immediate openings for City Carrier Assistants, Rural Carrier Assistants, Clerks and Mail Handlers. Position starting wages range between $16.87 and $19.06 per hour.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or High School graduate.
• Must be US Citizen or have permanent resident alien status.
• Must pass a background check, drug test and pre-employment medical assessment.
• Must reside within daily commuting distance of the position.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
