Lansing Downtown Postal Collection Boxes Out of Service November 19

Removed for Silver Bells in the City Parade

LANSING, MI — On Friday morning November 19, 2021, blue postal collection boxes located along the route for the ‘Silver Bells in the City’ parade (Washington and Lenawee, north to Ottawa and west to Capitol Ave. then south to Hillsdale.  Then Michigan Ave. between Capitol Ave. and the Lansing Center 333 E. Michigan Ave.) will be out of service.

The collection boxes will be back in service on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

This request is being done for public safety reasons as a part of Homeland Security. Residents who normally deposit mail in the list below can bring their mail to other collection locations around the city.  The collection boxes at the following locations will be impacted:
