The U.S. Postal Service has sent out a postcard for the Addison Post Office located at 103 S Talbot St., Addison, MI 49220-9998.

Background:

Due to a potential loss of lease, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail services to a yet-to-be-determined location within the zip codes of 49220. The desired size of the new facility needs to be one of the following: (a) an existing building that is approximately 770 gross square feet with 11+ dedicated parking stalls or (b) land to lease that is approximately 11,000 square feet in which the Postal Service can bring in a modular building.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the current location until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, instead of a public meeting, we are inviting you to send your comments on the proposal to the following address within the next 30 days to: United States Postal Service, Attn Addison, MI Relocation, PO BOX 27497, Greensboro, NC 27498-1103.
