Nazareth, MI — Since 1985, the Nazareth, Michigan Post Office 49074 has offered a special Holiday pictorial cancellation. The postmark highlights the Christmas Star.

“Each year the Nazareth Post Office receives approximately 38,000 requests worldwide for the special postmark, including from Japan,” said Postmaster Terri Sootsman. “We’re thrilled to be able to bring this unique postmark to people all across the nation and world. Some customers will even send us a Priority Box full of Christmas cards for us to cancel and send from the Nazareth Post Office.”

To receive this special cancellation (available until January 1, 2023), enclose your stamped, addressed cards in a larger envelope, and mail to:
