Brohman, MI – The United States Postal Service has made a final decision to relocate retail services from the Brohman, MI Post office formerly located at 577 W. Lincoln St. to the northwest corner of Woodbridge Ave. and Lake Dr. as part of the property located at 7310 N. Woodbridge Ave., Brohman, MI 49312.

Due to COVID 19 in lieu of a public meeting, a postcard was sent on September 15, 2021, asking for community input. For the reasons set forth below, the Postal Service has decided to proceed with the relocation.

The Postal Service is relocating because its lease has expired.

The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were provided to our customers at the former location. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to continue services at the White Cloud Post Office, 1097 E. Wilcox Ave., until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.

While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the Brohman, MI community, the Postal Service properly considered community input and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives. Postal Service operations are not supported by tax dollars. To be self-sustaining, the Postal Service must make decisions that ensure it provides adequate and affordable postal services in a manner that is as efficient and economical as possible.
