The history of the Postal Service’s Postal Consumer Councils (PCC) dates back over six decades. Over the decades the bond between business customers and the Postal Service continued to evolve throughout the country, and today, these councils, now known as Postal Customer Councils, provide a unique opportunity for any business to meet with top level managers of the Postal Service to obtain information, share ideas, address issues, grow their business and network with other business colleagues.
As a part of the Delivering for America plan, the USPS has made many changes to how mail is processed. This important program will help attendees understand the changes and how the mailing industry can best prepare mail for their customers to minimize delivery time and maximize postage savings.
The Detroit PCC looks forward to increasing their membership and encourages local area businesses, deeply rooted in the community, to join the PCC.
