Yale, MI Post Office Celebrates 33rd Bologna Festival with Pictorial Postmark

YALE, MI — Yale, Michigan celebrates a 33-year tradition, the Yale Bologna Festival, with activities throughout the city July 28 - 30, including the USPS offering a Pictorial Postmark highlighting this year’s theme, “Rockin’ since ‘89.”

“The Postal Service is excited to provide this pictorial postmark highlighting the special artwork designed by a local 13-year old aspiring artist, Zyana Wadsworth,” said Postmaster Kristy Bechtold. “The postmark highlights well-known Bologna Guy with a 50s connection.”

On Friday, July 28, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., the Yale Post Office will hold an autograph session with artist Zyana Wadsworth. Also, the first 150 customers will receive a free souvenir cachet envelope featuring the Yale Bologna Festival logo on the envelope. The 66 cents postage is still required for the postmark to be applied.

The Yale Post Office Pictorial Postmark is available for 30 days beginning July 28, 2023. Customers can visit the Yale Post Office in person or enclose a stamped, addressed card or envelope in a larger envelope, and mail to:
