Detroit MI – Harper Station Post Office

What:

The U.S. Postal Service will send out a postcard for the Detroit MI Harper Station Post Office located at 10254 Gratiot Ave.

Background:

Postal Service is now looking downsize the current Post Office to a yet-to-be-determined location within two miles of the current location. The desired size of the new facility needs to be approximately 1,300 gross square feet with 14+ dedicated parking stalls or Postal Service will consider leasing land that is about 11,000 square feet to place a postal owned facility.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the current location. Retail Services will continue at the current Post Office until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.

We are inviting you to send your comments on the proposal to the following address within the next 45 days to: United States Postal Service, Attn Detroit, MI-Harper Station Relocation, PO BOX 27497, Greensboro, NC 27498-1103.
