What:

The U.S. Postal Service will send out a postcard for the Muskegon Heights Post Office located at 2517 Peck St., Muskegon Heights, MI 49444-9998.

Background:

Due to a space deficiency issue in the current building, the Postal Service is now looking to lease a new facility to a yet-to-be-determined location within the 49444-zip code. The Postal Service is looking to lease either (a) an existing building with about 770 SF facility with 9+ parking stalls for retail only, (b) lease land of about 11,000 SF to relocate retail into a postal owned building, or (c) find a new facility to house both retail and carriers in an existing building with about 7,400 SF facility with 53+ parking stalls.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the current location. Retail Services will continue at the current Post Office until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
