SAGINAW, MI — The U.S. Postal Service recently welcomed employees to an event celebrating the opening of the Saginaw Sorting & Delivery Center (SDC). The special event offered employees a first look at the Postal Service’s latest investments to improve the employee experience and provide the community and surrounding regions with faster, more reliable service under its transformation and modernization strategies.
The modernized Saginaw SDC is a culmination of the cultural change permeating throughout the Postal Service, focused on innovation, collaboration, problem-solving and competition. USPS facility upgrades across the Michigan continue to make workplaces safer, more engaging spaces to work.
The transformation and modernization of facilities across the nation is a core tenet of the Postal Service’s investment strategy. As USPS continues its path toward financial sustainability and high operating performance, investments like these not only enhance operational precision but also prioritize a better working environment for its employees, ensuring a safer and healthier workplace.
