USPS Renaissance Center Station to Close Retail Services

Detroit, MI — The Renaissance Center Station, 100 Renaissance Ctr., Ste 2-210, Detroit, MI 48243, will suspend retail services at the close of business on January 20, 2026, and will suspend PO Box services on January 20, 2026, due to an expired lease.

On January 21, 2026, the Retail and Post Office Box services at the Renaissance Finance Station will transfer to the George W. Young (GWY) Post Office, 1401 W. Fort St, Detroit, MI 48233, located 1.4 miles away. Customers who currently hold a Post Office Box will be able to receive their mail daily at the George W. Young Post Office beginning January 21, 2026. This temporary service will be provided until further notice.

For customer convenience, the George W. Young Post Office provides full retail services from 9:00 am – 10:00 pm Mon-Fri, 10:00 am – 8:00 pm on Sat. and 12:00 pm -7:00 pm on Sun. PO Box services are available 24 hours daily.

If applicable, Post Office Box refunds request must be received at the Renaissance Finance Station by 01/20/2026.
