MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Effective January 28, 2019, full Retail, PO Box and Caller Services will resume at the Loring Station located at 18 N 12th Street in Minneapolis. 

Retail window hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  The PO Box Lobby will be open 24 hours.

The Loring facility was temporarily closed due to an overnight fire on April 21.  Street Delivery Services returned to the facility on November 19, 2018.

A Customer Appreciation Reopening Celebration will be held on Monday, February 4th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Refreshments will be provided along with a Meet and Greet of local Postal Management.  A hiring table will also be set up for those interested in a Postal Service career.  Community members and local media are invited to attend.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
