Postal Service to Host Public Notification Meeting on Proposed Relocation of Farmington Post Office

What:

The U.S. Postal Service is hosting a public notification meeting regarding the Farmington Post Office located at 216 Oak Street, Farmington, MN 55024-1240.

Background:

The Postal Service is considering relocating retail service to the new Carrier Annex facility located at 113 Elm Street. This will allow the Postal Service to use its resources more efficiently and reduce costs.

The Postal Service will stay at 216 Oak Street until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location. The address and PO Box numbers will not change due to relocation of the Post Office.

U.S. Postal Service representatives will present the proposal for the relocation during the meeting.

Written comments on the proposal will be accepted until April 25, 2019 and may be submitted to:
