Winona, MN to Install 24th Postmaster

What:

Dale A. Zintman will be sworn in as the 24th Postmaster of Winona, MN. Media and the community is invited to attend.

Background:

As Winona Postmaster Zintman has administrative responsibility for 50 employees, 2 Stations, 17 city routes and 8 rural routes. Excellent mail service and customer satisfaction are high priorities for Zintman.

Zintman joined the Postal Service as a Distribution Clerk in 1998 in Alma, WI. He held several postal management positions including:

  • Supervisor, Customer Services in the Rochester, MN Post Office
  • Supervisor, Customer Services in the Winona, MN Post Office
  • Postmaster of the Luck, WI Post Office
  • Postmaster of the West Salem, WI Post Office
  • Postmaster of the Cochrane, WI Post Office

Zintman has been the Postmaster of Winona since June and previously acted as Officer-in-Charge of Winona beginning October 2018.

Zintman attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh where he received a Master of Business Administration degree.  He has also served on the Cochrane-Buffalo City Lions Club in numerous capacities since 2006.

“I strive to renew confidence in the Postal Service with our Winona customers and provide excellent service in all aspects,” Zintman said.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
