Transition to occur over Martin Luther King holiday weekend
FARMINGTON, MN — USPS is relocating Retail Services and PO Box Operations from 216 Oak Street to 113 Elm Street, over the upcoming Martin Luther King holiday weekend.
To execute this change, Access to PO Boxes will be unavailable to customers from Friday, January 17, 2020 at 12:00PM until Tuesday, January 21, 2020 by 10:00AM at the new location. However, customers may pick up their PO Box mail with a valid State-Issued Identification on Friday and Saturday during normal business hours at the Oak Street location.
Farmington Postmaster Kerry Stragey said, “the United States Postal Service has been servicing this community since 1856. We welcome you to visit our updated new location.”
Retail operations will be available until 12:00PM on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Oak Street location. Retail operations will resume as normal after the holiday on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the new location. The operating hours of this new facility are as follows:
9:00AM – 5:00PM M-F
9:30AM – 12:00PM Sa
The PO Box Lobby is available to customers 24 hours a day.
Retail services are also available online 24/7 including weekends and holidays at usps.com.
