CLEAR LAKE, MN — On February 03, 2020, the Clear Lake Post Office located at 8698 Main Avenue was emergency suspended due to structural damage caused by a vehicle.
To ensure the safety of our customers and employees, retail and PO Box services have been temporarily relocated to the Clearwater Post Office located at 625 Smith Street in Clearwater, MN, 55320. Retail hours at this facility are:
8:45AM – 11:30AM 1:00PM – 4:15PM M-F
8:30AM – 9:30AM SAT
All mail that was in the building at the time of the damage, to include the mail in the PO Boxes, will be made available at the new Post Office as soon as possible. Because of safety concerns, customers are not allowed in the building.
Retail services are also available online 24/7 including weekends and holidays at usps.com.
The Postal Service will do everything possible to continue providing uninterrupted service to the community while emphasizing the safety of our employees and customers as our first priority. At this time, it is unknown when services will resume at the Clear Lake facility.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
