MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The Minneapolis Powderhorn Station will be closed until further notice while repairs are underway to fix the damage sustained in recent events. The Powderhorn team expects to open the doors to their retail and PO Box customers by early next week.  Loop Station is back in service on June 4, 2020.

These updates come after Postal Operations were relocated for the Minnehaha and Lake Street Stations because they were destroyed by fire.

“Our employees are working hard to restore retail services throughout South Minneapolis.” said Minneapolis Postmaster William Jones.  “We are happy to report that all of our customers are receiving mail to their homes and businesses”.

As a precautionary measure, the Postal Service has also temporarily removed some collection boxes in St. Paul and Minneapolis.  They will be back in service when it is deemed safe to do so, and when we are able to collect the mail within them without incident.

Customers are asked to use the main retail area to pick up their post office box mail and mail held from the Powderhorn location due to damaged businesses or residences.  Mail pick up service will end at 4:30pm.  An ID will be required for all mail pickups.

• NOW OPEN: Loop Station, 811 Lasalle Ave., 55402

  Closed on Saturdays
