Minneapolis Powderhorn Station is open for business

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The Minneapolis Powderhorn Station, located at 3045 Bloomington Ave, 55407, has opened the doors to customers on June 9, 2020 after undergoing repairs to the facility.

These updates follow recent damage to this facility during recent events in the South Minneapolis community.

The Lake Street and Minnehaha Stations are still relocating operations as indicated below.  The United States Postal Service is already moving forward to provide customers with a local facility to call their own.

“The employees of the Powderhorn Station are excited to be serving the community again.” said Minneapolis Postmaster William Jones. “We are happy to reopen a neighborhood location for our customers to complete their postal business.”

As a precautionary measure, the Postal Service has also temporarily removed some collection boxes in St. Paul and Minneapolis.  They will be back in service when it is deemed safe to do so, and when we are able to collect the mail within them without incident.
