DEER RIVER, MN — The Deer River Post Office, located at 12 1st Ave NE, Deer River 56636,
is temporarily closed due to damage sustained in Monday’s high winds thunderstorm. No mail has been damaged and no timetable has yet to be established for the resumption of retail services.

Deer River customers may pick up mail, packages, and Post Office Box mail at the Marcell Post Office, 39370 State Highway 286, Marcell, MN 56657. The Marcell Post Office is open for all retail transactions Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Deer River customers whose mail is on hold will also be able to retrieve their mail on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Marcell Post Office lobby.
