Notice of Proposed Relocation and Comment Period

What:

The U.S. Postal Service is mailing a postcard to the Angle Inlet, MN, addresses, announcing a proposed relocation of the Post Office currently located at 9394 Golf Course Dr NW, Angle Inlet, MN, 56711-9998. The postcard provides information about the public comment period.

Background:

Due to the potential loss of lease, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail location within three miles of the current location. The Postal Service is looking for either (a) an existing building that is about 770 SF with 9+ parking or (b) land to lease that is about 8,500 for the Postal Service to place a Postal owned building.   

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the current Post Office until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.

We are inviting comments on the proposal and request they be sent to the following address within the next 45 days: United States Postal Service, ATTN: Angle Inlet, MN, Relocation, PO BOX 27497, Greensboro, NC 27498-1103.
