Notice of Proposed Relocation and Comment Period

What:

The U.S. Postal Service is mailing a postcard to the New Prague MN addresses, announcing a proposed relocation of the Post Office previously located at 124 Main St. E, New Prague, MN 56071-2440. The postcard provides information about the public comment period.

Background:

Due to space deficiency of the current Post Office, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail location within two miles from the current location. The Postal Service is looking for an existing building that is about 5,200 SF with 24+ parking.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the current Post Office until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.

We are inviting comments on the proposal and request they be sent to the following address within the next 45 days: United States Postal Service, ATTN: New Prague MN Relocation, PO BOX 27497, Greensboro, NC 27498-1103.
