Background:

Due to space deficiency of the current Post Office, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail location within two miles from the current location. The desired size of the new facility needs to be one of the following: (a) an existing building, approximately 6,290 square feet, with 45+ parking spaces, to move both retail and carriers; (b) an existing building, approximately 4,900 square feet, with 33+ parking spaces, to move carrier operations only; (c) an existing building, approximately 1,000 square feet, with 14+ parking spaces, to move retail operations only; (d) land to purchase, between 40,000 to 60,000 square feet, to build a new building or (e) land to lease, approximately 20,000 square feet, to place a postal owned building for retail operations only.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the current Post Office until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
