Final Decision Regarding Beckner Post Office Located At 13974 1st St. Beckner, MN 55308-9998

Beckner, MN – In accordance with 39 C.F.R. 241.4, this is the United States Postal Service’s final decision with respect to the Postal Services proposal to relocate retail services from the above-referenced Post Office to a site within a two-mile radius of above location. The Postal Service has initially identified Lot 1 which is at the corner of Hwy 10 and Edgewood St. SE. If this location is not adequate or an agreement cannot be reached with its owner, the Postal Service will consider other sites.

The Postal Service is considering relocation because of a loss of lease. The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were previously provided to our customers at the previous location. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to continue services at the current Monticello Post Office until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.
