Will take the Oath of Office and become the 31st appointee since 1818
St. Charles, MO – On Thursday, January 16th, Lynne Martin will take the Oath of Office and be installed as the 31th person to earn the distinction and title of Postmaster of the St. Charles, Missouri Post Office.
The installation ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. at the St. Charles Post Office, located at 1890 1st Capitol Drive, Saint Charles, Missouri 63301. Local officials will be in attendance.
Martin will oversee postal operations within St. Charles, Missouri. She is responsible for all mail delivery, retail sales and other customer service operations related postal products and services.
Martin began her career in 2005 as a Rural Carrier Assistant, She was later promoted to the position of Supervisor and she has been both the Officer in Charge and Postmaster of O’Fallon MO. Lynne also has held assignments as Postmaster, St. Ann, MO and Function 4 Coordinator. She was previously Manager of Customer Service Operations, South St. Louis. Lynne is a graduate of the Management Leadership Program and is Green Belt Certified.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
