U.S. Postal Service Honoring Legendary Broadcaster and Journalist Gwen Ifill

What:

 The 43rd stamp in the Black Heritage series honor Gwen Ifill, one of the nations most esteemed journalist.  The stamp art features a photo of Ifill taken in 2008 by photographer Robert Severi.  Art Director Derry Noyes designed the stamp.  The stamp dedication is free and open to the public.

When:

Who:

St. Louis Postmaster Russell Thouvenot from United States Postal Service is collaborating the with St. Louis County Library for the “Set the Night to Music” event which begins at 7:00pm. Set the Night to Music is back with the wonderful melodic sounds from Love Jones the Band.  Join us for a toe-tapping, finger-snapping good time.  We will commemorate the Black Heritage Forever Stamp with Gwen Ifill and groove to the sounds of Love Jones the Band.
