Background:

Due to the growth of the community, the Post Office is too small for postal operations, therefore the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail services to a yet-to-be-determined location within the zip codes of 65745 or within 2 miles of the current Post Office. The desired size of the new facility needs to be one of the following: (a) expand in the current facility an additional 2,400 SF with 20+ parking stalls, b) place a modular building on same location as the current Post Office for the expansion or c) find an existing building that is approximately 3,730 gross square feet with 20+ dedicated parking stalls outside of the flood plain.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the current location until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
